Packing & Unpacking in Queens
Free, No-Obligation Estimate
Box up the whole apartment or only the breakables, with materials that stand up to the road. Each box is marked by room, and when you are ready we will handle the unpacking at your new home too.
Packing & Unpacking in Queens
Short on time, or dreading the glassware and the framed art? We pack homes across Queens with solid materials and a careful hand. Hand us the entire apartment, or just the kitchen, the artwork, and the fragile pieces, and keep the rest for yourself.
What sets it apart
Good packing is what gets things there in one piece, and it counts double on a long haul or down five flights of pre-war stairs. We pack into double-wall cartons, real newsprint and bubble, and purpose-built dish and mirror boxes, labeling each by room so nothing goes astray. Fragile art, mirrors, and electronics get extra padding.
What we pack
- Kitchens, dishes, and glassware
- Art, pottery, mirrors, and electronics
- Books, closets, and wardrobe boxes
- Whole-home or partial, your pick
What we bring
- Double-wall boxes in every size
- Packing paper and bubble wrap
- Dish, mirror, and wardrobe cartons
- Tape, labels, and floor protection
Three Steps to Moving Day
From that very first hello to the final box carried through the door and set down in the right room.
Tell Us About the Move
Walk Cris through the shape of your move over the phone, on a quick video call, or right in the form. Back comes a fair hourly rate or a written flat quote, not a squishy figure that balloons once the truck is loaded.
Lock In Your Date
Claim your day and we set the right crew and truck, then sort the certificate of insurance your co-op or condo board needs, the freight-elevator reservation, and the parking on a tight one-way.
We Carry the Load
Cris handles the entire job himself, wrapping, loading, driving, and placing, and we route the run around the BQE, the LIE, and Northern Boulevard to keep the day on schedule.

Your Move, Fully Covered
Handled from the very first blanket we lay down to the last box set in the back room.
Fully Insured
Cargo and liability coverage rides on every job, and we run through your valuation choices together before you put your name on a single form.
Walk-Up & COI Ready
Fifth-floor walk-ups, pre-war stairwells, co-op board certificates of insurance, and reserved freight elevators, we scout the carry and handle the paperwork so a Queens apartment move never gets stuck at the stoop.
Padded & Wrapped
Each item gets blanketed, shrink-wrapped, and cinched down tight. Should something take a knock, we flag it right away and make it right.

What Our Customers Say
Amazing experience! Super fast, super clean, and super careful with all our belongings! Would recommend to anyone
They loaded quickly, communicated well, and took excellent care of our belongings. I would love to hire them.
They handled everything like pros, and I had to leave in the middle of the day because my mom was in the hospital throughout the move.
Questions We Hear a Lot
What do you pack with?
Heavy double-walled cartons, clean newsprint plus bubble wrap, made-to-fit dish and mirror boxes, and wardrobe cartons your hanging clothes go straight into. Every box gets its room marked on it, so the unload moves quickly and nothing wanders off, and fragile art and electronics get an added layer of care.
What will my move cost?
It really comes down to how much you are moving and how tough the building is to get in and out of. Book two movers and a truck and the meter runs from $110/hr, with a written estimate in your hands before we touch a box. Want one fixed figure instead? Cris will give you a flat quote, and that agreed number is the number you pay. Once a move heads across state lines, the math switches to weight and mileage.
Is there anything you won’t load?
Just a short list, and it all traces back to safety and the law: propane, gasoline, paint, or anything flammable, along with ammunition, houseplants, food that spoils, and pets. Got a piece that is oversized, seriously heavy, or especially valuable? Mention it at booking so the right gear rides along.
What if a piece gets damaged?
Thorough padding keeps it uncommon, but should a piece get dinged, we flag it on the spot and open the claim that very day. Ahead of the job we compare released coverage against full-value, so you go in knowing precisely how a claim plays out.
Can I move or cancel my date?
Absolutely. Give at least two days’ notice to move or cancel your date and the whole deposit is refunded. Each term sits in your booking in plain language, so nothing gets left to guesswork.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Brisk Movers holds New York licensing and insurance, and Cris works every job through with his own crew, no broker wedged in the middle skimming a cut. Want the coverage specifics? Just ask, and we will walk through your valuation options before anything gets locked in.
